‘The Regulation on the Carrying of Dangerous Freights through Seaway and Loading Safety’’ has been published by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in the Official Gazette dated 14 November 2021 and numbered 31659.

‘‘Regulation on the Transport of Dangerous Substance through Seaway’’ published in the Official Gazette dated 03.03.2015 and numbered 29284, has been abolished, with the above-mentioned regulation.

It has been stated that the Coastal Facility Dangerous Substance Compliance Certificates, which have been issued in accordance with the legislation abolished with a transitional provision, shall be valid by the end of their validity period.

Article 1,2,3,4, and sub-paragraph 1/a of 22,29, and 30 shall come into force on the date of promulgation. Among these articles, the sub-paragraph a of paragraph 1 of article 22 is related to administrative monetary penalty as it follows:

‘’a) Inspections made in coastal facilities that apply to the administration in order to renew TYUB within the scope of article 5, in the inspections made on the deficiency or inaccuracy in TMGD report within the scope of paragraph 2 of article 6, in the inspections made at coastal facilities in the scope of paragraph 5 of article 21;.’’

Mentioned regulation shall enter into force on the date 01.04.2022
